Pallet wrap and Stretch Film

Maxpak's MaxValu Velocity Pallet Wrap Will Enable Your Workers To Wrap MORE Pallets With LESS Film Thus Helping You SAVE THOUSANDS of Dollars EACH YEAR!

MaxValu Velocity pallet wrap (also known as stretch film or stretch wrap) is a high quality wrapping film to keep your goods tightly bound and secure.

Our pallet wrap is made with a special formula to obtain the maximum yield from the film to enhance packaging efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Maxpak's pallet wrap technology will CUT your costs PER WRAP!

For YEARS the 425mm wide stretch film was used as the superior choice by many plants and factories around Australia in order to reduce overlap and subsequent rotations of stretch film wrapping.

But that was then. Today, all the benefits of 425mm wide stretch film can be achieved with 500mm wide stretch film, with today's technology.

Maxpak's Velocity machine stretch film can stretch up to 300%, giving it superior yield to 425mm width film – with the effect of reducing your overall film usage. Thus helping you reduce your cost per wrap.

Not only does our pallet wrap have high puncture resistance and maximum stretch it also has high clarity and wraps quietly, thus making your workplace more enjoyable for your employees.

The following video demonstrates why our stretch films are perfect for your job.

Maxpak uses cutting-edge stretch film technology

There are two main methods of production of stretch film.

The older blown pallet wrap method blows out raw materials. The film is then air-cooled during a lengthy cooling process. Due to the slow cooling process, crystals form in the film which causes a "hazy" appearance in the resulting stretch wrap.

In order to acquire "cling" properties, an additive is fed into the resin which renders the end product unsuitable for recycling facilities. The "cling additive" is also responsible for the loud tearing noise that occurs when the stretch film is unwound during use.

The newer cast pallet wrap method (the one we use!) uses a special process where the film is passed over chilled cooling rollers – a much faster cooling process.

This rapid cooling process allows for a greater productive output per hour and a high clarity film which infrared scanners can read barcodes through.

Cast pallet wrap has inherent cling properties due to the cooling process. This allows the end product to be recyclable, and for the unwinding of the stretch film to be comparatively silent.
